February Update

Hi again!  Do you have a lot of scrapbooking to catch up on?  If you said yes, that's pretty typical!  Now is the time to get caught up.  I'd like to help you do that!

If you need product, as of today, we have a NEW Close To My Heart Idea Book.  Gorgeous papers, new ribbons and material (something new for us!) and of course, lots of FUN new stamps.  You can take a look at the Idea Book online - see the link to the right - - - - >
Or I can deliver an Idea Book to you locally or mail it to you for the cost of shipping.

I am also offering a personal special.  Each person who places a $40 order a chance to get $40 more in product for FREE!  You can order through me or online.  You can also host a party - traditional in-home, catalog or online - and earn another chance.  (Each party must have qualifying sales of $150 or more - which would cause you to earn MORE free product.)  Contact me to participate!

If you need instruction, I offer card workshops on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.  You make 5 or more cards that you can take home.  You can use the techniques to make more or on your scrapbook layouts!  If you have been "bored" with your scrapbooking, this workshop can be just the thing to liven everything up.

If you are a busy person and can't seem to find the time to scrapbook, this is the month for you.  We are offering our Studio J layouts for only $5 for a 2 page layout!  This is VERY quick, it's all done online and there is NO cost until you are ready to purchase.  You can COMPLETE an album in a couple of hours for around $25 - no joke!  Start at http://scrapbookaddict.ctmh.com and click on Studio J.  Try it today for FREE.

And, if you are looking to earn some extra income, I can help with that too.  I have a growing team that is earning income!  We have a SUPER new kit that includes the Chantily Workshop on the Go and several stamp sets, ink, instruction/idea books and so much more.  It's only $49 to start!  We have bonuses you can earn with your first sales too.  There is NO commitment to sell - although, I will encourage you and help you learn how.  ;)

Goodbye 2012!

It's just about time to say goodbye to 2012.  I don't know about you, but I love getting a chance to have a new start.

2012 was not one of those "magical" years for me.  That's not to say there wasn't anything good - I have had a slight increase in my business.  We learned more about having faith and holding on to God's promises - and that He KEEPS His promises!  I've also made some changes in my life this past year.  I'm learning that what I say in my head is quite often not right (and I'm changing those thoughts!)  Negative thinking can really be a big cause of issues going on in your life.  I've also been working hard to keep improving my health - keeping my body more healthy and adding a little more beauty and happiness.

It's good to look back and see what's good (that you want to keep doing) and what's not so good (that maybe you want to get rid of.)  I usually do a good long look on Dec. 31st.  I like to look at my personal life, my business life, my spiritual life and my connection with my friends and family.

So, back to that new start I mentioned.  It will be a new calendar year and I think that's a good place to try a new start.  I'm not one for too many resolutions.  I used to try them and usually failed a few days later.  Now, I think it's more about learning and growing, making smaller changes that are more likely to stick.  For example, I could say that I want to lose weight (no specific amount, just "a lot") and start cutting things out of my diet.  I'd think about those things I couldn't have and want nothing else.  And, I would fail at my goal.

So, how do we do better?  How can we take advantage of that new start and make some strides toward our goal instead of just making ourselves crazy?

Take ONE step.  Change ONE thing.  Open (and read) one email about a topic that you want to change.  Using the example above, I get emails from diabetic organizations, Bob Harper and Dr. Oz (I DVR his show everyday.)  All, I have to do is open an email and read it or watch 1 hour of tv.  How much JUNK email or tv goes on every day?

Don't believe it will help?  Well, you do have to actually listen/read and LEARN/DO something.  Following just this one tiny step, you can make change!  Maybe you will learn a new tip for your business or your family.  If you put that one tip to use, that is improvement.  Maybe you need organization - take one step, like putting out a basket to keep mail in one place.  Think about how that one little thing would help.  Make one change in how you eat - swap in wheat or whole grain bread and pasta (or just bread to start!) instead of white bread.  Get some success under your belt and maybe you will be ready to add a new veggie, start taking a walk or organizing a cupboard.

Let's all make a new start!  Decide what you want to change and find one small thing that you can do to make an improvement.  Share with us what you want to change!

December Happenings

Hi folks!  It's December!  Wow, crazy how fast the year went by.  Lots of things going on...

* If you haven't seen it, I'm writing regularly on BellaOnline as the Scrapbook Editor.  It's so much fun!  I did a series of Scrapbook 101 articles and I'm doing a few business articles now.  There's a new article each week.  Here's the link: http://www.bellaonline.com/site/Scrapbooking  There's also a Forum where you can come and discuss whatever scrapbook stuff you want.

* All of my vendor shows are done for the year, now it's customer service time!  Before the Christmas rush, it's time to get all your orders in.  I'm offering gift wrapping, wish list services, gift certificates (for product, classes/workshops or crops) and so much more.  I've had a few people contact me about Cricut information -- I'm happy to help where I can!  I do offer training on the Cricut machine, even though CTMH doesn't sell the actual machines.

* January 26th is the BIG Winter Crop!  NOW is the time to reserve your space.  It's $20 to reserve, $45 for the entire payment.  So, you can pay $20 now and $25 by January 18th or pay the whole amount at once.  Everyone will have an entire table - catered lunch and dinner - Crop Fairy gifts - make & takes and SO MUCH MORE!  Winter will be the theme of the day... well, that and SCRAPPIN'!!  LOL

I hope that everyone has a wonderful holiday this year!  I hope the family gets along well and there's lots of food and love!  (Maybe a giftie or two, too.)  Make sure to take some time to remember the REAL reason for the season - God's Love in sending His Son to save us from sin.  Love to all!  Kath*
